Rowan Pure Wool 4-ply

As we returned from the National Needlework Association conference and market (affectionately referred to as TNNA), I realized I need to get back to our regularly scheduled program. Otherwise all the new stuff we recently ordered is going to arrive so fast I won't be able to keep up.

So here we go.....

The first new yarn to chat about is Pure Wool 4 ply from Rowan.

This yarn is not new to the market but new to us. It has found a home on our shelves where 4 ply Soft used to sit. This yarn is a nice basic washable wool in a fingering weight. After knitting the swatch I can tell you this yarn is most comfortable at 7 sts to 1".

The most impressive factor of the Pure Wool 4 ply is the color range. Look color as far as the eye can see.

This is perfect for a fair isle type garment or granny squares if you happen to be in the crochet mood.

And speaking of color.....wait until next time when I show off the colorful Mochi Plus.
