knitspot

Anne Hanson's Knit Designs are showcased under the brand knitspot. While many people have come to know and love Anne for her sock patterns, she loves to knit sweaters out of sock yarn, too! Her patterns are known for textural elements and fitted styles that showcase your yarn and figure.

We have a new shop model gracing our walls - Sprossling, designed by Anne Hanson and knit by Yarnery staffer April.

The yarn she chose was Cascade Heritage Silk, a lovely new addition to our sock/fingering weight room. We stock sixteen colors of this 85% merino superwash, 15% mulberry silk yarn. With 437 yards in a 100 gram skein, it only takes three skeins for a small, four skeins for a large or five skeins for a 2X size. You get the idea...a little goes a long way!

Maybe a cardigan isn't what you had in mind? Here are a couple of modern sweaters using the same weight yarn:

Bel Air

Henley with a Twist

Which knitspot pattern will you be making this fall?
